Being a nerd totally paid off. A few weeks ago, I got a full scholarship from the university that I applied to, another scholarship in Society of Women Engineers that is obviously given to female students who are pursuing degrees in engineering and engineering technology and just yesterday I received a letter saying my application for a Pell Grant was approved. I filed application months ago and I really thought I didn’t make the cut, but luckily I just did. Life could not get any better. These would totally be a big help for me especially now that I’ll be entering college. I am still planning to apply for other grants for ex felons in order to finance all my needs when the semester begins like books, gadgets like a laptop and other school supplies. Hopefully I can still qualify to other scholarships and grants I applied to so I can pay for the apartment and purchase my daily needs.
