The serious guy

10-November-2009
Most of you have already seen pictures in the magazines to be held in front of your webcam to see some special offers or the websites asking to print out some holograms, hold them in front of your computer and play with a car or a power-plant. “Burger King” made a step further: they launched an augmented reality banner

Promoting its $1 value menu, Burger King banner asks you to take your wallet and simply grab any old one-dollar bill. Once you hold it up in front of the banner with your webcam turned on, you can literally see what your buck can turn into. A sandwich! The future is now and it is tasty.

No need a dollar to activate banner. It perfectly works with one of clients business card. That's only an illusion of step forward.

very useful read. I would love to follow you on twitter. By the way, did anyone learn that some Iranian hacker had hacked twitter yesterday. Catherine
